Portfolio managers and heads of enterprise PMOs
You already own the investment pipeline and want a credential that recognizes portfolio-level decision-making.
A live, instructor-led PfMP® preparation program offered by P.U.L.L. for executives who decide which programs and projects an organization invests in.
The Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)® recognizes people who manage an organization's collection of programs and projects as a portfolio, deciding what to fund, what to pause and how to balance the whole against strategy, capacity and risk. Per PMI, the exam is organized around five portfolio domains: Strategic Alignment, Governance, Portfolio Performance, Portfolio Risk Management and Communications Management. It tests decision-making at the level where investment choices are made, not where individual deliverables are produced.
This is a program offered by P.U.L.L. for senior practitioners, and it operates at the enterprise level throughout. Live sessions examine situations such as a strategic shift that invalidates half the current portfolio, components competing for the same scarce capability, governance bodies with overlapping authority, and the challenge of showing value to a board that only sees cost. You practice the portfolio manager's response: optimize, rebalance, communicate and govern.
Because PfMP® applications pass through a panel review of portfolio experience, our coaching calls devote time to describing portfolio-level work in PMI's language. You also receive a personalized study roadmap, daily follow-up and an exam simulator with four-hour timed mocks to prepare for the exam's length and complexity.

You already own the investment pipeline and want a credential that recognizes portfolio-level decision-making.
You translate strategy into funded initiatives and need a structured discipline for selecting and balancing them.
You run large programs and are moving toward roles that decide which programs exist in the first place.
You govern budgets across many initiatives and want project-world methods for value, risk and performance reporting.
Every option is taught live by our instructors and follows the same success formula: roadmap, daily follow-up, coaching calls, simulator, support until you pass.
PMI exam fees and PMI membership are paid separately to PMI. Program fees are generally not refundable once you enroll; you may transfer once, free, before the first session; if P.U.L.L. cancels the cohort before it starts you choose a full refund or a transfer, and if a material schedule change makes the cohort unworkable for you, you may transfer or be refunded for the undelivered portion. See our conditional pass guarantee and enrollment terms. Questions before you enroll? Email pull@pullacademy.com.

The PfMP® is about deciding which programs and projects an organization should invest in and balancing them against strategy, while the PgMP® is about delivering a group of related projects as one program. Per PMI, both have panel-reviewed applications, but the PfMP® measures experience in months of portfolio management work.
Per PMI, the PfMP® exam has 170 questions, 150 scored and 20 unscored pretest items, in four hours. Our simulator mocks run the full length so you are prepared for the stamina it requires.
It is a step, per PMI, in which experienced portfolio managers evaluate the portfolio experience described in your application before you can schedule the exam. Our coaching calls help you present portfolio-level decisions clearly and in PMI's terms.
Per PMI, it is time spent on activities such as selecting, prioritizing, balancing and governing a collection of programs and projects against strategy, rather than delivering individual projects. We help you separate those months in your application.
No, per PMI the PfMP® has no prerequisite certification; eligibility is based on professional business experience and portfolio management experience. Many candidates hold other PMI credentials, but it is not required.
Per PMI, the PfMP® is valid for three years and renewed by earning 60 professional development units in each cycle. We show you how portfolio leadership activities can contribute.
Every scenario we work through asks what the organization should fund, pause or rebalance, because that is the altitude the PfMP® exam tests.
Describing portfolio work convincingly is a skill in itself; we coach you through your experience summaries so the panel sees the decisions you actually made.
Your personalized plan and daily follow-up are designed around a leadership calendar, with focused study blocks rather than long open-ended reading.
Live sessions bring together portfolio leaders from different sectors, and comparing governance and prioritization approaches sharpens everyone's judgement.
